Project Overview

Facelift Home Improvements was appointed as principal contractor to deliver a comprehensive roofline replacement scheme across a large residential apartment block comprising flats 1–45, together with associated entrance porches and two garage blocks.

The project formed part of a planned programme of maintenance designed to protect the building from the elements, improve long-term performance and enhance the overall appearance of the development. As the existing roofline components had reached the end of their serviceable life, the management company required a durable, low-maintenance solution that would provide reliable weather protection for years to come.

Working within a fully occupied residential environment required careful planning, clear communication and close coordination throughout the programme. Facelift was responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including scaffolding, health and safety compliance, resident liaison and the installation works themselves.

By delivering a fully managed solution, we were able to complete the project safely and efficiently while minimising disruption to residents and maintaining access to homes throughout the works.

The Challenge

The existing fascias, soffits and rainwater goods had reached the end of their serviceable life and required replacement. The works also needed to be undertaken within an occupied residential environment with minimal disruption to residents.

Our Solution

We erected and managed full perimeter scaffolding before removing the existing roofline system.

Preparatory works included straightening and correcting roofline areas before installing new rosewood uPVC fascias, soffits, ventilation systems, guttering and rainwater pipes. Additional improvements included eaves trays and comb fillers to improve ventilation and prevent pest ingress.
