Facelift Home Improvements was appointed by a local builder to construct and waterproof a new flat roof as part of a substantial residential extension project.
Working closely with the builder throughout the construction programme, our roofing team was responsible for preparing the roof structure and installing a high-performance RubberBond EPDM roofing system, complete with a formed opening for a future rooflight installation.
The project required a durable, long-lasting flat roofing solution capable of delivering excellent weather protection while integrating seamlessly with the wider construction programme.
Particular attention was needed around the raised rooflight upstand and multiple changes in roof level to ensure a fully watertight finish.
Our team installed a new RubberBond EPDM roofing system across the newly constructed flat roof structure.
The roof incorporated carefully formed upstands and detailing around the rooflight opening, with all junctions and perimeter details completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines to provide maximum durability and weather resistance.
Working alongside the builder, we ensured the roofing works were completed efficiently and to programme, allowing subsequent trades to continue without delay.
