The project
This exterior refurbishment in Crawley, West Sussex brought together a full re-roof, replacement fascias and guttering, triple-glazed windows and new external doors. Our Facelift Home Improvements teams completed the work, including a new bay window with a lead-covered roof, to give the home a coordinated finish.
01
Bringing the improvements together
The project covered several important parts of the property’s exterior, from the main roof and roofline to the windows and entrances. White window frames, grey fascias and soffits, and black guttering brought the different elements together.
With our roofing and window installation teams involved in the same project, the customer could have these improvements carried out through one company.

02
A new roof and refreshed roofline
We completed a full re-roof and replaced the fascias, soffits, guttering and rainwater pipes, including the roofline serving the garage.
The work included preparing the supporting timbers so the new fascias sat straight and renewing protection around the roof edges to help keep out rain and birds. Grey uPVC fascias and soffits provided a neat finish, with black guttering carrying rainwater away from the roof.

03
Triple-glazed windows throughout
We replaced the existing windows with white Liniar uPVC triple-glazed windows to help improve insulation and comfort.
The new windows feature secure locking systems and built-in vents for background ventilation. Each window was carefully sealed and neatly finished inside and out, creating a consistent appearance throughout the property.

04
A bay window with specialist leadwork
The new bay window is a distinctive feature at the front of the home. We constructed an insulated base and roof, finishing the roof with carefully fitted lead.
This part of the project highlights our roofing team’s specialist leadwork skills. The lead provides a durable, weather-resistant covering, with a traditional finish that complements the white bay window.
05
Updated entrances at the front and rear
A new composite front door refreshed the main entrance and provided a secure, practical replacement for the previous door.
At the rear, new French doors and a replacement back door completed the window and door installation, updating access to the garden.

The finished home
The completed project brings the roof, windows, doors and roofline together in a consistent style. The photographs show how these individual improvements work alongside one another, from the lead detailing above the bay window to the matching white windows at the rear.
For homeowners considering several exterior improvements, this project is an example of the work Facelift can undertake together.
